Our Journey

Shinda Management Corporation was founded by three determined men on December 8, 1981.

After ownership decided to shift to a new management company at their previous place of employment, the three men decided to start their own management company thus Shinda was born. The name Shinda was chosen because it means "Overcome" in Swahili. They truly believed in the statement "when one door is closed, another opens." They rented a small office at 96-09 Springfield Boulevard, Queens Village with one fold-up picnic table, three chairs, a phone line and coat rack. Truly humble beginnings.
